These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Uzox Discord application, website, dashboard, support channels, premium features, and related services (the "Service").
By adding, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service and remove the application from any Discord server you manage.
eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are allowed to use Discord and are legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a server, group, company, or other entity, you represent that you have permission to do so.
discord and third-party rules
The Service operates on or with Discord and may interact with other third-party services. You must comply with all applicable laws, Discord's terms, Discord's community guidelines, Discord's developer policies, and any third-party terms that apply to your use of the Service.
Uzox is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Discord Inc. or any third-party service unless expressly stated.
your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Your use of the Service and any activity that occurs through your account, server, permissions, commands, settings, or integrations.
- Making sure you have all rights, permissions, and authority needed for anything you request, submit, access, use, or share through the Service.
- Making sure your use of the Service is lawful, non-infringing, and allowed by all applicable platform and third-party rules.
- Managing who can use the Service in your server and which permissions the Service receives.
- Reviewing and removing the Service if you no longer want it to operate in your server.
You agree not to use the Service to do anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, privacy-invasive, security-threatening, or otherwise objectionable, or to encourage others to do so.
content and requests
The Service may process commands, links, metadata, files, settings, or other content provided by users or third-party services. We do not claim ownership of content you own.
You remain solely responsible for the content, materials, sources, services, and requests you use with the Service. We may refuse, remove, limit, block, disable, or report content, requests, servers, users, or usage that we believe may violate these Terms, applicable law, platform rules, third-party rights, or the safe operation of the Service.
The Service does not guarantee that any content, feature, source, integration, or third-party service will be available, accurate, uninterrupted, lawful for your use, or suitable for your purpose.
paid features
Paid features, if offered, may be provided through Discord, payment processors, or other providers. Prices, availability, benefits, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment processing may be subject to additional terms shown at purchase or imposed by the relevant provider.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable and access to paid features may change, pause, or end at any time.
enforcement and termination
We may suspend, restrict, remove, disable, or terminate access to any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it is necessary to protect users, third parties, the Service, Discord, legal rights, platform compliance, or our own operations.
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing it from your server and discontinuing use.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and enforcement terms.
reports and rights concerns
If you believe the Service is being used in a way that violates rights, laws, platform rules, or these Terms, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can review the issue and, where appropriate, remove content, restrict access, disable features, preserve information, or take other action.
For copyright or DMCA-related notices, please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material or activity you want removed or disabled, with enough information for us to locate it.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
We may review reports and take action we consider appropriate, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome. Nothing in these Terms prevents anyone from exercising legal rights that cannot be waived, but we ask that you give us a reasonable opportunity to address concerns before taking further action.
service changes
We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or change any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is effective when posted, unless a later date is stated. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of availability, reliability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party services, user content, server activity, platform decisions, outages, data loss, or actions taken by Discord, payment providers, rights holders, hosts, or other third parties.
limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uzox and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, access, revenue, or business, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Uzox for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) 50 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Uzox and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your use of the Service, your content or requests, your server, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your violation of platform or third-party rules.
